WHEN:  Mid January through mid December - One, two or three day retreats

WHERE:  EAGLE’S WINGS RETREAT CENTER

          Burnet, TX. - 2 ½ miles north of Hwy 29 on RR 2341 - 2805 Ranch Road 2341

FACILITIES:  Settler's Crossing Area

Eagle’s Nest - It has inside meeting space for 40-50 people and an outside 20 x 36 ft deck with barbeque pits. Eagle’s Nest has 2 restrooms with showers and sleeping for 20 and a food prep area.  It has air conditioning and heating units.  TV for DVDs and VHS tapes and stereo system as well as an assortment of indoor games are available.

Bunkhouse - has sleeping for an 22 people and 2 bathrooms with showers.  It has air conditioning and heating units.

Eagle's Nest and the bunkhouse are adjacent to each other and normally are used as separate sleeping areas for boys and girls.

Pavilion/Stage - 24'x36' covered pavilion with lights and electricity

Additional facilities - camping, Marian Grotto, outdoor Stations of the Cross and outdoor chapel.

YOUTH PROGRAMS:   

Eagle's Wings is setup so that you can do everything yourself for your retreat or you can have us do the program for you.  At this time  we don't provide meals, it is up to the renting group to provide your own meals.  The food prep area is a small kitchen so it is recommended you bring meals already prepared or bring meals that are easy to prepare in our small kitchen.  Or you can have meals brought in by some of the local restaurants, see link at the bottom of page.

Retreats would include spiritual growth, games, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. We can prepare and present retreats on such topics as:  Confirmation, Father/Son, Mother/Daughter, Rest for the Weary, Peacemakers, Celebrating Life, The Beatitudes, Relationships, Advent, God in the Outdoors, The Sacraments, The Person of Jesus, In Search of God, Parables, The Lord's Prayer and Family Retreats or you can present your own retreat.  We can work with you and help you customize or develop a retreat to fit the needs of your youth group.

Service projects are available and can be a great team experience.  We have activities such as simple building projects as well as conservation and environmental improvements.

Rental Fees and Program Costs

o     Costs for Eagle's Nest & Bunkhouse

-       $18.00 per day per person for 1st day (15 person minimum)

    and $10.00 per day per person after 1st day (same minimum)

-  Call for small group rates of less than 15 people

-  Deposit (1/2 of total due) required to confirm reservation & certificate of insurance, also see Medical Release Forms at bottom of page that need to be filled in for all people attending.

Groups completing a service project while attending a retreat at Eagle’s Wings can earn a  discount on the per person fee (call for discounts).   There is no per diem fee for a youth group coming to Eagles’ Wings for only a service project.
